You may have seen us on TV or even walking around your neighborhood. Either way, Project 100 is making a real impact in Southeast Michigan, and Co-op Services Credit Union is the driving force behind it.
What is Project 100, you ask? Well, it’s a program designed to promote the positive aspects of giving. Basically, we’re giving away 100 dollars to 100 people over 100 days in an effort to encourage people to give back to others in their local community.
Why would anyone want to give away money now? It’s true; times have been tough for a lot of people. That’s why Co-op Services created Project 100, to help Southeast Michigan communities by encouraging people to give back. We knew that giving away money alone wouldn’t be enough though; we needed to create a spark that would continue to spread throughout the area. Therefore, we enlisted the aid of random people all over Southeast Michigan. As we give out $100 dollar bills, we are encouraging recipients to continue the effort of giving back.
Over the last few months, Project 100 has given away $100 dollar bills in communities throughout Southeast Michigan. But that’s only the beginning. We’re just the spark for change; the real success is all about you! Want to know how you can get involved?
